He must be out of the house, like kids on summer vacation in the '50s, leave after breakfast, and come home at supper time. I'll change the locks if I have to...

*****
Kathy,
Perhaps you can make him a satiny handkerchief. That is ...So, his nervous tic is scratching things? That is odd. My favorite son has a similar habit of rubbing fabric. He was one of those babies attached to a blankie. He drug the baby blue one with it's silky satin binding around until it finally disintegrated after a clandestine trip through the washing machine. He was about 2 then, so he just commandeered his twin sister's matching pink blanket and enjoyed an additional 2 years or so of rubbing that satin edge between his fingers at bedtime and any time of stress. At the recent wedding of his little sister, I notice him rubbing the fabric of his tuxedo. Mom's notice these things. Right after the ceremony, when I slipped my arm around my favorite boy and asked what was bothering him, he confessed that he was moving out of his home and that he and his wife are getting a divorce. He did not want to cast a shadow on his sister's day. See why he is my favorite? Not for the tactile fabric habit, but because he is considerate. Although I love to touch fabric myself ....Kathy's Klotheslinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17881966393157941515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8112514995333046518.post-518585089906157242015-10-24T20:53:51.385-05:002015-10-24T20:53:51.385-05:00Oh, just think about when you--and then FH--are re...Oh, just think about when you--and then FH--are retired.
