A Valentine's Day Of Epic Proportions

Sweets for the sweet.

Today, I received two ring pops, a chocolate rose, and a carnation. That's unheard-of at the secondary school level! Never in all my teaching days have I raked in so much loot on Valentine's Day. My usual haul is NOTHING.

Somewhere in my youth or childhood, I must have done something good.

Or swag was mistakenly delivered to me by confused student council members.

  1. Sioux,
How dare you, Madam, assume that my students would attempt to garner favor by supplying me with trinkets and sugar!

None of these gifters was an Eddie Haskell. Though one was, technically, a regifter.

  2. Re-gift .... I hope the ring pops weren't used!

  3. Kathy,
Nope. Ring pops were safely encased in their wrapper. The chocolate rose was one of three received by a young lass who has only been attending our fine school half the year. I think that speaks well for the impression we have made on her.
