Mrs. HM basically eats two meals a day. Instant oatmeal (Maple Brown Sugar) and a banana around 11:00-noon, and supper around 8:00-9:00. However... she DOES enjoy a snack with her Shasta Zero Sugar Cola with lemon while she scratches her lottery tickets in the evening. Sometimes it's a mini bag of chips, or Gardetto snack mix, or Combos Pizza Flavor. But this is Chex Mix season. After a couple days of treating myself, I realized that I must not continue down this flavorful road. I need something lighter than the nutty, calorie-loaded Chex Mix. It's a treat, not a lifestyle.
Anyhoo... this caught my eye in 10Box:
As you can see, I brought it home with me. I love pickles. And I love those puffball snacks.
The calories are right. Same as mini bag of chips. They're pretty much just carbs and air and flavoring, heh, heh.
So enticing, there in the foil bag! Looks like contents have settled during shipping.
That's 46 of them in a bowl. I like them! Just the right crunch. An initial tart pickle-y burst, then more like the aftermath of the cheese ball version. They go well with my soda. I have a feeling they won't be around long in the stores where I shop, being a brand name snack. There's only so much room on the shelves, unlike the Devil's Playground or larger stores.
It's okay. I still have five servings left.

My husband would buy those just to try them. He definitely has his mom's DNA as she was famous for buying new and intriguing items at the grocery store. He has been wanting to get the McDonalds Grinch meal, but it is always sold out. It is a Christmas special that is, I believe, Chicken nuggets with FF that includes Grinch Pickle Salt and a "special" bag to shake the FF with the GPS before eating. It comes in a "special" box with a pair of socks, for whatever reason. He just wanted to try to Grinch Pickle Salt. He was also interested in eating McDonalds FF, where he controlled the amount of salt.
(Someone recently posted their heavily salted FF from McDonalds and said maybe they could be hired to salt the roads around here. Yes, they use way too much salt. You have to wipe them off before you eat them. Ugh!) Ranee
Rae,
Heh, heh! Salt the roads! I like salt, but even I've had some McD's fries that were way too salty. I don't think I've eaten anything from there in several years. I drive right past it on the way to the bank, or Pony's house. Nothing seems enticing enough to go through their double drive-thru lane. Unless maybe a McRib, when it's available.
I like the Pickle Balls for their crunch and tartness. They're certainly not very filling!
These are new and I don't think we have them here but I would try them if I saw them on the shelf.
River,
I think I like dill pickle flavored potato chips better, but these are pretty good.
