Sweet Gummi Mary! It's a miracle! This is Friday, Day 4 of my illness contracted from Farmer H, and I FEEL NORMAL! Well. If normal includes a deep (though productive) sudden cough about once every two or three hours. My headache is over. Nose has stopped dripping. The congestion that started Thursday evening is gone. I'm cured!
This was good news for The Pony, who was worried for me. Especially after I cut short our Thursday morning phone call because I felt so bad. Also, today's report might have given The Pony hope for his own recovery, since he came down with the same symptoms one day after I did.
The Pony had spicy Chinese food Thursday evening, to clear his head. He had suggested that Farmer H bring me some Hot & Sour Soup to make me feel better. It's been a go-to in the past. But Farmer H came home at 12:30 on Thursday! I didn't even have time to ask him to pick up soup.
Anyhoo... I am thrilled to be back to almost-normal. I didn't even go to town on Thursday, because my eyes were all watery, and there was rain, and I had chills. I'll be headed to the store today. But more importantly (to me) I'll be getting my own scratchers, rather than relying on Farmer H.
