Remember when The Pony got his new refrigerator delivered to Pony House? And Farmer H installed the ice maker, and the first batch of ice came out BROWN? Here's the proof:
The Pony dumped it in the sink. I'm pretty sure he dumped the second batch as well, even though it came out clear.
I'm glad the water line has cleared itself now that The Pony is there using city water. He'll be needing that ice soon enough, when he returns to work after his mandatory five days off at his 1-year anniversary.
The weather's not getting any cooler for a while...

It DOES look like frozen cola! Good thing The Pony was paying attention, and didn't drink any of that ice.
Our well water did the same thing after being off for awhile. HeWho DID use it because he is not observant about much of anything. The dirt here is clay and the county is also Clay. At least I pay attention, even to trivia.

Your county is aptly named! Our dirt here is mostly clay. I'm not sure about in town. It sits on top of the old lead mine. Definitely hard water around here.
