Pony Burgers

Sometimes The Pony sends me a picture of his supper. With a minimal message.

"Made burgers!"

That was at 7:04. By 7:06, I replied, "Looks delicious!"

And at 7:09, Pony said, "They are. Or rather, WERE!"

I guess The Pony works up quite an appetite on his route. He likes his burgers rare:

And his nail polish almost the color of rare ground beef...

I'm all for a nice juicy burger but this is just a wee bit too pink for my tastes. If it were a bit more done, I think it would have been perfect. However, I do not polish my nails so nothing to compare my pink "done-ness" to. I am impressed that both, he and Genius, are able to concoct some yummy edibles. A lot of guys just live on pizza. Rae,
Looks like The Pony just walked the steer across the skillet! It's a bit TOO rare for me, but better that way than incinerated, like my dad used to make them. When Farmer H's grilled burgers come out this way, we put them in the microwave for a few seconds. We never know what color The Pony's nails will be. Black, blue, red, and now rare!

Genius considers himself to be a gourmet chef, and will look up recipes and try them. Like growing his own peppers on his Pittsburgh balcony, and making hot sauce. The Pony experiments with things he's seen on the Food Network, and buys random deli grocery things to try or add to. Neither one of them are going hungry!

That's a bit too pink for me too, I like them juicy but well browned on the outside. I LOVE the nail colour.

River,
A little too rare, but seeing the juice that has run out makes me want a burger! I've never been a fan of pink. So even The Pony's black nails period is preferable to me. Or bright red.

Like everyone ease, too rare for me. My nephew likes his steak so rare that I doubt it is even warm! I am sporting blue toenails .....

Kathy,
I saw your blue toenails! It looks better on toes than on fingers. Or maybe I just dwelt on the color, rather than concentrating on FEET!
