After a long hot day of work on Saturday, with his burned hand on the wheel, The Pony drove himself to Steak N Shake for supper. You know how I see signs that mean something to me? Looks like The Pony has inherited that tendency.
!!! Look at this !!!
"Sweet Gummi Mary! That's a sign of SOMETHING!"
"Yeah. The stoplight so I could get a pic was lucky too."
We'll see what develops in the life of The Pony...

It IS a sign. In fact, it was a double-sign, considering the kind of car it was.
Does The Pony attract weirdos, too?
I keep forgetting to ask... Why was oil involved in cooking a steak? Was he deep-frying it?
Also, is that pinkish-beige nail polish on his nail... or paint?
Sioux,
Still not sure what it's a sign OF. Maybe taking the time to send me that picture kept him out of a possible accident. You never know.
The Pony does not attract weirdos that I know of. Except that one hooker who tried to get her hooks in him at Riverwind Casino in Norman, Oklahoma, on New Year's Eve when we took him back to college. I noticed her keep talking to him down the slot row, and finally said, "That's my son. We're not looking for any company." The Pony was totally oblivious to what was going on, so he can't hold it against me!
Sioux 2,
It was regular vegetable oil for cooking, as far as I know. What he'd use in baking cakes for Farmer H to steal slices from. I don't know WHY The Pony uses oil for searing his steaks. Maybe he saw it on a cooking show? Or maybe he's as clueless as his father, who uses oil to FRY BACON!
That is nail polish. I even put a note about it on one of the three posts, so it wasn't assumed to be a wound of some type. This color is not as startling as the black he has used in the past, but he needs to keep those nails polished, or not. Rather than going around with them all chipped off. Maybe that mail-slot cat got ahold of his thumb!
Perhaps a big casino win will allow The Pony to buy the car of his name.
I thought maybe the Pony had a new vehicle when I saw the picture!
River,
He wishes! For the big win, not necessarily a car. He'd probably upgrade his laptop for faster gaming. And maybe put a little into the outside of Pony House.

Kathy,
No, but that would have been a great license plate for The Pony. He doesn't get excited about cars like Farmer H and Genius.
